On October 3^rd, 2010, Trent University is hosting their 5th annual horse show as a member of the Ontario University Equestrian Association (OUEA) at Kildare Stables.  The OUEA is an entirely student run organization with council members selected from varying Universities.  
Each year, many of the 11 participating institutions host their own show in which we are required to provide horses, tack and all additional aids for the riders.  This requires tremendous support from local and surrounding communities to put on a show of this magnitude.  

We require approximately 25 horses with capabilities for the following divisions:
• Beginner: walk/trot/canter and cross-rails
• Novice: w/t/c jump a hunter course not to exceed 2’3”
• Intermediate: w/t/c  jump a hunter course not to exceed 2’6”
• Open: w/t/c jump a hunter course not to exceed 3’

We ensure that your horse would have exceptional care throughout the day by one of our qualified handlers or by an individual of your choice.  There will be handler’s onsite to accompany your horse(s) at all times- including staying overnight to look after all horses on property (if you wish to donate for both days or prefer to trailer in overnight).
What are the benefits:  By participating in this experience you are gaining the opportunity to get your horse out to a show without any entry fees.  They will gain exposure to a different facility, different jumps and a different environment.

Trailering donations and discounts are very welcome!  Assistance with trailering fees can also be arranged depending on the number of horses and distance of travel.
